About Forever Team Paxton

On February 8, 2018, A 5-pound, 9-ounce bundle of joy was born. Paxton Josiah Davis, Mister Prince Charming himself, our future scholar, attended “Growth Spurts Daycare” in Washington DC, where he captivated all his caregivers. At home, he was considered the man of the house. Every morning, Paxton began his day with a hearty breakfast and kitchen praise & worship with his mother, Tanya. Bacon, eggs, and grits were his favorite.

In the evenings, Paxton looked forward to dinner, mommy time, and his favorite show, “little baby bum.” Although a bath was designed for bedtime, Paxton always stayed awake waiting on his second mother, “Shonte.” At an early age, Paxton learned to maneuver to the foot of the bed, waiting to greet Shonte with warm hugs, juicy kisses, and late-night playtime as she returned home from work.

Although Paxton was here on earth for a short period, he left an impression on everyone he met. So much that he had several nicknames. Mooniecakes, Moodest, Big Man, Poppa, Pac-Man, Joe Joe, Paxy Shark, Pitty Pat, and so on.

In 10 years from now, we imagine Paxton would be our Tranquil Storm, a Low-Key but very gregarious. He’d be a sweet, gentle young man who would enjoy singing, dancing, and playing various instruments. He would be involved in his school and community. As a young man, Paxton would’ve known that he was loved, cared for, and protected. He would’ve been a child who treats others the same way he wanted to be treated. Finally, Paxton would’ve known to keep his God first and to treat his family, friends, and even strangers with love, respect, care, and concern.
